Meet Mr. Arif Khan

artisan of india wood carving home decor

A true craftsman and a remarkable story of resilience and dedication

From a young age, Mr. Khan faced adversity head-on. He had to step up as the pillar of his family after his father's passing when he was just in 2nd grade. With two younger sisters and a brother to care for, he made the tough decision to leave school and embarked on a journey to master the art of wood carving. For 13 years, he toiled tirelessly, taking only two days off in that entire span.

After honing his craft, Mr. Khan ventured out on his own and tied the knot at the age of 22. He didn't stop there – he ensured financial stability for his younger brother by setting up a separate business for him, securing his mother, sisters, and wife from financial hardship. He even fulfilled the dream of taking his family on the prestigious Hajj pilgrimage.

Today, he oversees a team of 13 permanent employees and 5 contract workers, all thanks to his dedication to woodcraft. His passion not only secured his family's future but also allowed him to continue growing his craft. With three children excelling in their studies, he's committed to providing them with the best education possible.

Mr. Khan's story is a testament to resilience, hard work, and unwavering commitment.
